I'm Matt Johnson (MJ).
Trained economist, recovering (professional) musician and new venture builder. I'm a product and business leader, relentless optimist, creative realist, and obsessive simplifier.
I love to build businesses.
And in that pursuit — I’ve been a founder, co-founder, business partner, board member, advisor, leader, creator, maker, and do’er. I’ve learned from my failures and I’ve helped build multiple businesses that have been acquired.

WHAT I DO
By day, I build and grow new businesses. By night, I play outside, fix houses, and chase my 5-year old daughter around the lakes and woods.

My Mission
Fix more than I break. Dig until I find the real problem. Execute better than I plan, but never work without a plan. Use technology for good. Surround myself with the smartest and most interesting people I can find. Build business that will leave the world better than I found it.
